2nd visit so a quick recap. 1st visit was excellent only let down because they didn't give people the choice of how they paid . WELL all change they do now thank you for listening. Room 6 is attractive large and has a almost shabby chic about it great views over the garden perhaps in need of a touch up in places . Lovely bed pillows bit too soft for me but perfectly acceptable to most others . They seem to be a short staffed however the staff were attentive and really helpful with any issues we had and they dealt with them professionally and with courtesy. Our food apart from one tiny matter at dinner which was sorted with speed and quickly resolved was excellent . Breakfast was again very satisfactory so all in all a four again . Would have been five star but for the staff being over stretched , I know getting staff in hospitality and keeping them is difficult. But perhaps with large parties staying one needs to make sure it's fully staffed and other guests stays are not impacted by pressurised staff . Lovely place lovely staff will definitely return . Thanks for an enjoyable stay and a thank you to all our readers for keeping us in the top ten percent again this month . Maybe it will be 5 star next time let's hope so .

We got married here last New Year’s Eve. We unfortunately didn’t have the best experience at the time due to understaffing. We raised our concerns with the new owners who were taking over at the time. They booked us in for a free stay this new years and WOW. Service was brilliant food was brilliant. Cannot say a negative thing about this hotel. Don’t listen to the negative reviews some people will moan about anything! You will love your stay here and will definitely enjoy the food!

What a magical getaway! If you're looking for the perfect staycation in the gorgeous English countryside with incredible food, modern amenities & friendly staff/ service... Stanton Manor is it! I genuinely had the best time and the staff were so hospitable. We got to meet the regulars and it really felt like something out of The Holiday. Highly recommend!

Absolutely awful experience, from the beginning to the end! The first room we were shown was totally unsuitable, and the second one, very basic. However, worse was to come. The evening meal was woeful, and breakfast even worse!

Just left Stanton Manor hotel, only stayed one night (birthday treat for my daughter) l have never written a hotel review before, but it was so lovely, building and gardens beautiful, rooms large and clean ( bathrooms looked brand new) food delicious, staff very friendly and efficient and Oscar was so kind, they even gave my daughter a birthday card, she was very pleased! Our dinner and breakfast were included, brilliant value for money ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️ thank you so much, would love to return for longer next time, and will definitely recommend!

Lovely hotel. Some parts a little dated but the rooms were clean and really large, the bed was comfortable, the food both for breakfast and evening meal were lovely. Would definitely visit again

Lovely stay for our wedding anniversay booked bed breakfast and evening meal package with Expedia, arrived to fresh cookies in the room had a lovely view over the garden, food was amazing prawn starter was definitely the star of the show. Chilled in the bar with cocktails after and chatted to a couple who were also celebrating their anniversay over some champagne. Breakfast was plentiful with a great selection. Our room was spacious and clean. Staff were helpful and engaging, shout out to Luke whom nothing to much trouble for. Thank you for a great stay.

Great reception on arrival. Luke was very helpful and even got our bag from the car and took it up to our room. The room was adequate but is in need of renovation and after a false start with the shower (this way sorted quickly) we settled in. Spent evening in the bar where we mingled with the locals, other guests and staff. Food was beautiful. Bed very comfy, slept well. Breakfast was fab and was included in the price. Overall couldn't fault the service, staff and food. Thanks to Luke, Rachel and team for an enjoyable stay 😉

We recently had our wedding at Stanton Manor, we cannot recommend this venue highly enough, it blew all of our expectations out of the water. Firstly and mostly we would like to thank the amazing staff at Stanton Manor. We would like to give a special shout out to the wedding planner Elise. She truly goes above and beyond to make every little detail perfect from the planning to every aspect of the day. She is a very friendly and genuinely lovely person, who we cannot praise enough. We would also like to thank Luke who was a big part of our day, making sure everything ran smoothly and he was always checking to see if there was anything more he could do to help. The Stanton Manor team as a whole were incredible, we could not fault the service and all of our guests were singing there praises also. We would also like to say how stunning the location of the venue is, the grounds are absolutely beautiful, as well as the outside ceremony set up. The rooms were all lovely, clean, and the beds were very comfortable. From start to finish our day was magical. The food was also amazing, we thoroughly enjoyed each course, we received many compliments throughout the day from our guests about the food also. We are so happy we chose Stanon Manor, our special day was beyond what we could've dreamt of, we cannot stop praising every aspect of the day, but it was truly perfectly organised and ran so smoothly, and we will never forget all the hard work the team put in for us. We will definitely be returning in the future

Beautiful location excellent food and the staff are the best! I stay away from home 3 nights a week for work reasons so I know a decent receptionist or waiter when I see one and this hotel has the best !

This was a Christmas gift, taken on my birthday. We had afternoon tea in the drawing room. We couldn't fault the service from all the very friendly staff. The tea itself was delicious, very filling....more than enough; sandwiches, mini cake selection and cream tea. Choice of 9 teas, two big pots, we chose one Earl Grey and one breakfast pot. After we took a stroll around the beautiful gardens, saw the bee hives (they sell their own honey too). You can hold yr wedding and reception here....an idyllic setting. Highly recommended 🥰

Mooi hotel, heerlijke bedden, prettige ruime badkamer. Prachtige Engelse omgeving. Mooie tuin achter het hotel. Stopcontacten op de kamer zijn allemaal Engels. Toevoeging van USB-C stopcontact zou voor Europese toeristen welkom zijn. Verbeterpuntje: er waren geen flyers aanwezig met attracties in de omgeving.

Went to the hotel for my fitness check up with Bluecrest. No signage at the front door and no welcome from hotel staff. Hotel is missing a great opportunity by not promoting itself to Bluecrest client who attended by the dozens. Asked if they a menu to read while I was waiting and was pointed to one on the wall. Lovely looking place but the staff and management need a bit of a wake-up call in regards to customer service.

Enquired about a quote for exclusive use. Were given a quote which we were happy with then booked a show round off the back of it. Sat down with events and spoke through the quote and plans for our event. Offered to put our deposit and only then (after we had mentioned it was for a wedding celebration) did they up the price by £5k, tripling the price. Very upsetting and they refused of honour the initial quote

Disgusting business practice - quoted a price during a venue tour and then changed it last minute when it came to pay the deposit to triple the price, just because it was a wedding. Should be illegal, please avoid out of principle to prevent this happening in future.

The conditions of the rooms are not great. Our toilet in room 15 didn't flush property. Some mold in the bathroom.

Would have been five stars, but due to circumstances beyond their control the hotel had to close the restaurant for the night, so no restaurant in the evening or hot breakfast. Staff were excellent as ever.

Lovely hotel. Lovely staff. Only downside is you can hear everything going on through the walls.
